With all this talk about AI, I felt compelled to think about how we can use it to expand our mindset?
Most conversations about AI focus on productivity, speed, or efficiency. But there is a way to use AI to help you expand your mindset, elevate your thinking, or when you feels tight, limited, or stuck.
I’m not an expert with AI, but I know it can definitely be used as a tool to help you expand your thinking when you ask it the right questions.
Here are 8 ways you can AI to expand your mindset and open new possibilities:
1. Clarify the mindset you’re currently operating from—and ask how to elevate it
Share the way you’re thinking about a situation right now and ask: “What mindset am I operating from, and what higher or more expansive mindset could I shift into?”
Awareness is always the first gateway to change.
2. Challenge limiting beliefs when you feel stuck or stagnant
When your thinking feels repetitive or heavy, ask AI to question your assumptions. Invite alternative interpretations you may not be seeing.
Stagnation often isn’t a lack of options—it’s a lack of perspective.
3. Ask for questions to clarify your vision
Instead of asking for answers, ask for questions.
Questions that stretch your thinking. Questions that reveal blind spots. Questions that help you see new possibilities.
Clarity expands when your questions evolve.

4. Re-examine how you define success
Share what success currently means to you—and ask how it could be viewed through a more meaningful, fulfilling, or values-aligned lens.
Sometimes what drains us isn’t effort…it’s chasing an outdated definition of success.
5. Reframe problems and setbacks into opportunities
Share the challenge you’re facing and how you’re currently interpreting it. Then ask:
- “What other ways could this situation be viewed?”
- “What opportunities might exist here that I haven’t considered yet?”

• What concerns or fears are influencing you
• What feels unclear
Then ask for perspectives that help you reconnect with alignment—not pressure.
Right decisions don’t come from force.

When relationships feel heavy or strained, share what’s happening and how you’re interpreting it.
Ask what other perspectives—or internal shifts—could help you respond differently.
Relationships often transform when we do first.

8. Use AI as a reflective space—not a crutch
Treat AI as a thinking partner, not a decision-maker. Let it help you see patterns, assumptions, and emotional undercurrents—so you stay sovereign in your choices.
The real power of AI is not to think for you but to help you expand your thinking by giving you ideas that you may not have thought of on your own. That’s how ideas form–when you brainstorm.
When your thinking expands, your energy frees up . When your energy frees up, you naturally operate from higher emotional states—more peace, openness, creativity, and possibility.
